The Days Till I'm in His Arms
My boyfriend Jerry Alan is in the Marines and recently left for Afghanistan. This is the first deployment the love of my life and I have gone through. I started this blog to help myself cope with the separation, meet other Marine SOs, and possibly help others along the way. I have another blog that is focused completely on my photography which you will probably see some of on here, along with pieces of our letters.

Vent
I called my best friend to talk to her about J.A. and my deployment blues this morning. She says, “I’m not the person to talk to cause he’s my brother. I’m sorry but it’s hard to hear bad things about him. He’s my other half.”
ok so first of all I didn’t say anything bad about him.
Second he has been her STEP brother for 5 maybe 6 six years
Third he is my other half bitchSome best friend. Her soon to be husband is a marine but it just goes to show that unless you have gone through a deployment yourself then you don’t know how it is.
