We were not together before he joined the marines. He was always my best friends brother to me for a long time. You could have asked either one of us in high school if we thought we would end up together and we probably would have both laughed at you. I guess we started talking around a year ago and got together shortly after that we aren’t really sure when we made it “official” but we fell in love about a year ago.

Thank you. I think is some ways it has helped me. I met a lot of other great ladies who were going through the same thing. It is always helpful to know that you aren’t alone in what you are feeling. I suppose I have been slacking lately on posting since I joined a support group on Facebook. There are a lot of people on tumblr who get mad about OPSEC, when you say “My marine”, or sometimes if you complain because someone’s situation is always worse than yours. Despite this I would discourage making a blog to cope. There are more people out there who are supportive than you think and don’t let the people who aren’t get you down. I am always here for you if you need me too.
